Umrah Unlocked (“we”, “us”) operates umrahunlocked.com and get.umrahunlocked.com, where we sell a digital Umrah planning guide. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@umrahunlocked.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you buy the ebook or download a free resource, our payment platform Gumroad collects your email address and payment details. We never see or store your card details — payment is processed entirely by Gumroad, acting as the merchant of record. If you message us on Instagram (including through our automated reply system), we see the messages you send.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies. Specifically, this site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which collects device information, pages visited, and actions taken (such as viewing a product or completing a purchase). This helps us measure whether our advertising works and show relevant ads on Meta platforms.

How we use it

We use this data to deliver the product you bought, send the resources you requested, respond to your questions, measure and improve our marketing, and meet legal obligations (such as tax records, held by Gumroad). We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We work with a small number of service providers: Gumroad (checkout, payment, email delivery of purchases and free downloads — gumroad.com/privacy), Meta Platforms (advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel — facebook.com/privacy), ManyChat (automated Instagram message replies — manychat.com/privacy), and our website host. Each processes data only to provide their service.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. You can opt out of personalised ads from Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences. Emails we send through Gumroad include an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the UK and EU under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@umrahunlocked.com — we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Data retention

Purchase records are retained by Gumroad as required for tax and accounting. Email addresses stay on our list until you unsubscribe. Pixel data is retained per Meta’s policy.

Children

Our site and products are intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
